Canggu is villas with a terrace and a pool, which is exactly where braiding works best: a normal chair, daylight, and nowhere to be for a few hours.
She braids every hair type. Those textures lead because they are the hardest, and because they are the ones hardest to find someone for in Bali. Fine, straight and mixed hair are booked just as often.
Where in Canggu
Berawa, Batu Bolong, Pererenan and the lanes off the shortcut.
There is no salon. She works out of Dalung in North Kuta and travels to you with everything she needs: hair, chair cover, combs, clips, gel. Tell her where you are staying and she will tell you what the trip adds. Canggu is the closest of the four.

What to expect
The day, at the villa
- How long
- Most styles run five to eight hours in one sitting. Kids cornrows are two to three.
- Hair type
- She braids every texture. 4C, 4B and 4A are the specialism because they take the most skill, but fine, straight and mixed hair are braided just as often — say what you have and she will tell you what holds best on it.
- Where
- Anywhere with a normal chair and daylight. A terrace, a garden, beside the pool. Not a bathroom.
- She brings
- Hair, chair cover, combs, clips, gel, and everything else. You do not buy anything.
- You provide
- A chair, a power point, and somewhere she can stand behind you.
- Wash first
- Come with hair washed and fully dry. Not oiled, not conditioned.
- If it rains
- Move indoors. Nothing is cancelled for weather.
- Travel
- She is based in Dalung, North Kuta, and travels across the south. Canggu is fifteen minutes. Tell her where you are staying and she will tell you what the trip adds.
- Payment
- Cash in IDR, or bank transfer. Paid at the end, never up front. No deposit.
- Booking ahead
- A week ahead is best. Three days is the minimum she can fit into a schedule.
